What to do on a rainy day at the beach

~Every year my husband’s daughter and family vacation at the beach for a couple weeks and we always go down to spend a few days with them. This year they stayed in north Ocean City MD on the bay side. This is the dusky scene from the balcony of the condo they rented. It was so pretty there and the sunset was gorgeous. It did rain the next day though but we found plenty of things to do to keep us from getting bored. Eating, shopping, napping and eating again!

 canal from patio

The day we arrived we grilled some huge steaks and ate on the deck overlooking the canal. We did a lot of eating, that’s for sure.

When the skies looked like this we headed to Bethany to do a little shopping between the rain drops.

The town was crowded. Guess everyone had the same idea.

Samantha was interested in hermit crabs and I found some pretty pillows to gaze at.

I don’t think I need a book to tell me how to live in flip-flops, it just comes naturally. Who me?

While the kids looked in the junk shops I found lots of pretty things I liked.

By this time it was pouring!  We headed home for a short nap and went out to eat, again!

If you want a delicious meal in Ocean City MD, check out The Shark on the harbor. My meal was the most delicious food I have had in a very long time!

We had some bruschetta with roasted red peppers and shaved parmesan, drizzled with balsamic vinegar, stuffed zucchini blossoms and the amazing fried green tomatoes!

chicken stuffed with crab

My entrée was Chesapeake chicken with the biggest pieces of crab I have ever seen and lobster mashed potatoes! I felt like I was in heaven!  O H M Y!

Then a little drive to see the sights, fishing boats and yachts in the harbor.

The next day we headed home and I still felt stuffed. I think I’ll eat lightly for a few days!

More Ocean City posts HERE.

Have you ever been to Ocean City? There are plenty of beaches along the coastal highway, Lewes, Henlopen, Rehoboth, Fenwick, Dewey, and Bethany. A long time ago my mom had a place in Rehoboth. What’s your favorite?

Family vacation at the beach, no sunburn allowed.

I remember my mom mixing baby oil and mercurochrome for a faster tan. Remember that reddish brown stuff? Mercurochrome isn’t even sold anymore.

Being born in the 50’s I remember this cute kid and her little dog making it clear that a “healthy tan” and a nice “copper tone” were the goals of the summer sun.  We didn’t even call it sunscreen in those days, we called it “suntan lotion.’”

My family and I are very fair skinned, so sunburn is a definite no no. We burn easily! I burn almost instantly and have started using a 70spf sunscreen made just for faces every single day. If I can prevent one wrinkle, it’s worth it!

Skin wrinkling and brown age spots are not the result of age alone. Both of these visible signs of aging can be largely attributed to the effects of the sun’s radiation that a person has absorbed throughout their life. An older person will have more wrinkles than a younger person largely due to the fact that they have had more time to absorb more radiation. It is not just coincidence that the majority of wrinkles and age spots appear on the face and hands. These are the areas of the body that are exposed to the sun’s radiation nearly every day of your life. Using sunscreen every day will not only help to prevent any further visible signs of aging, but it may also help to reduce the amount and severity of the wrinkles and age spots or freckles that you already have.

mia

This week while we’re at the beach, we are laying the sunscreen on heavily.

Since the effects of the sun’s radiation are cumulative throughout a person’s life, parents should be especially concerned about their children’s outdoor activities and ensuring that they are protected from the sun every day.

dave in a hole

My older grandson has lots of freckles and fair skin so sunburn is a definite no no. He dug a big hole complete with a seat to keep cool on the beach.

Using sunscreen every day can help reduce your chances of developing skin cancers, including Melanoma. Using a sunscreen daily will reduce a persons chances of skin cancer by 78%!" And the earlier you start using it the better.

2012_06_04_5196

This is the first time we rented a condo big enough for all of us and it feels great being surrounded by family. We just got out of the hot tub! Tomorrow is a fishing trip and then later chicken on the grill.

2012_06_04_5273

I’ll be sharing more pictures soon but wanted to post these reminders of how using sunscreen is a must, no matter what your skin type. Even my little grandson, whose skin is not as fair as ours wears sunscreen.

Using a sunscreen daily will reduce a persons chances of skin cancer by 78%!" And the earlier you start using it the better.

There are some beautiful homes here at Virginia beach and I’ll post some pictures soon.

A memorial, Memorial day with a Blue Velvet cake

On Memorial day every year we have a little get together with my husband’s daughter and grandkids. It’s not fancy at all, just burgers, dogs, macaroni salad and baked beans. The menu is usually the same from year to year and we hangout outside, not doing much except chatting and eating. And eating.

 beans

Dominic, my husband’s grandson has been making the beans for the last few years. He really likes to cook and I’m glad that his parents don’t try to keep him out of the kitchen. Cooking is a great thing for a guy to know. Bill, my husband can barely boil water and I’m serious about that!

 Catherine 2012

They always bring their Nan, Bill’s mom along too. She really enjoys her hotdogs and ate two. That’s a big meal for her. Can you believe that she will be 96 this year! She looks fantastic! She always wears jewelry, has her hair done and nails polished and she even had a cute little gold purse.

samantha and dominic

Dominic and Samantha are are just about to get into it. Those two can’t be in the same space for long. You know how kids are…”Mom…..he’s touching me….she’s looking at me” or this one, “she’s breathing on me!”

nichole dominic samamtha 2012

So mom has to get in the middle and give Dominic the look. Their dad is a fire fighter in Philadelphia and had to work, so he missed the cookout this year. More food for us!

blue velvet cake 2

I usually make a homemade dessert and this year was no exception. My cake looks very patriotic and I was anxious to cut into it to check out the color.

It’s patriotic even on the inside. GASP, it’s really blue!

I never heard of Blue Velvet Cake until I came across this and pinnned it to my red, white and blue board on Pinterest. I think my version had a little too much gel food coloring, but it tasted like classic red velvet, that is if you could get past the color.  Smile I used the recipe from the pin if you want to try it. If you need an invitation to Pinterest just let me know in the comments and I’ll send you one.

I’m getting ready to go to the shore next week and really looking forward to sitting on the beach. My family will be there with me. It’s the first time we rented a big house for all of us to stay. It’s got 2 Jacuzzis, a hot tub, fireplace and even a cute little paddle boat for us to use on the lake and it’s only 200 yards to the beach. I’m planning on taking lots of pictures to share. The beach is such a beautiful place.

Family Time in Tennessee

I’m in Tennessee this week visiting family.

Meet Jake my grandson. He started kindergarten this year and is constantly counting, adding and spelling and really soaking up letters and numbers like a dry sponge.

j

We went on a pumpkin counting walk together and he said he counted a hundred!

j2011_10_12_2450

His nickname is mud digger and the pictures clearly show why.

j2011_10_13_2457J2011_10_13_2459

If there’s mud near, the boy will find it.

2011_10_13_2468

He lays in mud, rolls in mud and is pretty much covered in mud from head to toe. You can see more pictures of a much younger Jake playing in mud HERE in a previous post.

J2011_10_13_2476

Muddy face, muddy hands, one tooth missing, did I mention that he’s a cutie?

It’s perfect weather here today and later we’ll be going to the Heritage Festival to celebrating Fall.

Are you enjoying Fall?

Next week I’ve got a giveaway coming up that’s perfect for Christmas.

A Fun Boat Ride around Canandaigua Lake

Recently while visiting my daughter, we spent the afternoon on Canandaigua lake in NY.
At three, my granddaughter Mia is already a seasoned sailor and a real cutie!

You can revisit an 08 lake post here to get a glimpse at more beautiful homes.

The few days that we were away, our neighborhood had some wind damage. Some of our patio furniture and large urns were overturned, all of the tomato plants were laying over and a large shrub was pulled right out of the ground. I’m counting our blessings, it could have been so much worse………
SunI hope you have fun on Labor day and embrace these beautiful days as Summer ends, cold will be here soon enough!

Ocean City Boardwalk

On day 2 of our vacation we rode the bus from the condo to the southern end of the boardwalk to eat at Harrison’s. 2010_07_3RT From our table we could see the Ocean City inlet and  Asseteague.

Assateague Island is where wild ponies are herded into the water for the swim over to Chincoteague, where some are sold at auction.  I’d love to see that!2010_07_31_0345RT

2010_07_31_0352RT 2010_07_31_0356RT

The food was fantastic. We all got seafood of course, and I got my favorite lump crab cakes.

After we were stuffed we hopped on the tram and rode to the northern end of the boardwalk because we were too lazy to walk the whole way down and back.

2010_07_31_0361RT

At the northern end, we got off the tram and then walked all the way back to the southern end, because that’s where we’d get the bus to head back to the condo.  It was a plan that worked out well!

2010_07_31_0339

The sights, sounds and smells of the boardwalk surrounded us! There’s so much for kids to do.

2010_07_31_0340

Ever whac a mole?  Check out this cutie smiling at us!

2010_07_31_0341

Arcades and rides are everywhere.

Henna tattoos and hair braiding.

2010_07_31_0369RT

This was an art gallery. You could get lost in there and never see all of the art work. Prints and oils take up every inch of space 3 stories tall.

2010_07_31_0368  It was disappointing, but we didn’t see Lady Gaga.

These sand sculptures drew a big crowd and were stunning in person. This was a quiet spot on the noisy boardwalk.2010_07_31_0375RT

2010_07_31_0376RT

2010_07_31_0378RT

I think eating ice cream on the boardwalk is an absolute must, or french fries, fried oreos, cotton candy, hot dogs, fresh squeezed lemonade…….There’s so much to enjoy! Pizza! Fried snickers….

That was the end of our mini vacation in Ocean city and we headed home early the next day.

Coming up soon, a CSN giveaway I think you’ll like. Come on back and enter.

Goin “down the shore” Ocean City, MD

2010_07_30_0312RT

Years, that’s how long since I’ve been to the shore. I’m not much of a beach person because it’s usually so hot for me and the sand gets everywhere and burns your feet…….. but for 2 days I can stand it. And I actually enjoyed the beach this time. The weather was perfect, not humid and in the mid 80s.

Bill’s family vacations at the beach every year  We have an open invitation to visit and stay with them, so we took off for the beach and left our wet and noisy home behind.

2010_07_30_0297RT

We only had to walk this far to get on the beach!

2010_07_31_0314RT

Yes this is the beach, now I remember!

Oh to be a kid again, that’s what I was thinking.

2010_07_30_0301RT

Thank you Ocean City MD beach, hope I can visit again!

Next, pictures from the boardwalk. What’s better than the boardwalk? The sights, the smells and so many things to tempt you senses!

I got a new Canon T1i, my first DSLR, and was playing with my camera and Photoscape, a free program that does amazing things to your pictures. I’m definitely not a pro so I really appreciate free programs. Thanks Rhoda!

The Service Master crew has dried out the house and removed all their equipment now, but they did remove more drywall in the basement.smile_sad  Next, drywall work, new insulation, carpet padding, cleaning and stretching and painting. Water can do so much damage! The wooden floor in the kitchen is ok….phew!

Those thrift store Flamenco Dancers

I visited sweet little Mia on her 2nd birthday. Here she is in her beautiful birthday dress from her favorite Aunt. It was the perfect dress for the birthday girl.

While I was there I stopped in at Volunteers of America thrift store and bought the Flamenco dancers in the pretty old frame.

I really only wanted the frame. What, you don’t believe me?

24823_1399122627606_1518498798_996715_1424673_n

Anyway, Mia walked over to the picture and pointed to the man and said, “Dada,” then pointed to the lady and said “mama.”

Wasn’t that cute!

I hope she was just identifying the gender and didn’t really think that was Mama and Dada!

New York City

One Saturday I boarded Amtrak and headed to  Penn Station in New York City to spend the day with my grandson Dave.
I can’t even say the words, New York City, without thinking of this song by Stevie Wonder.
♫ His hair is long, his feet are hard and gritty
He spends his love walking the streets of New York City
He’s almost dead from breathing on air pollution
He tried to vote but to him there’s no solution
Living just enough, just enough for the city♫…yeah, yeah, yeah

From the train the view of the countryside is so diverse, with horse drawn plows and freshly washed clothes blowing in the wind, ugly urban areas and a very interesting array of people at the stations. Interesting indeed.

2010_02_25
I met up with Dave in Penn Station and we set off to enjoy the day.  That’s us on the subway (the boy knows how to get around the city), some street vendors, Pace University, where he’s a student and the Cafe Dalsace, where we had a delicious brunch.
2010_02_251
Dave devoured eggs benedict, and I loved my goat cheese and sun dried tomato omelette. We both had roasted potatoes and fresh green salad and several cups of hot french roast.  Yeah, we’re coffee hounds! Our dessert was apple tart with cinnamon ice cream. It was ummmm, so good.
Most of the day was spent rushing around looking at apartments, and I do mean rushing. A 5 story walk up was definitely not for me. Dragging groceries up those stairs, no way! Oh to be so young again.
2010_02_252

We did manage to get in a little sight seeing. He gave me a mini tour of Pace and I saw his dorm room……..what a mess! But I’m glad I got to see it. Now I can understand a little better why he wants out of there.
On the  left, the Brooklyn bridge. Can you say traffic? Imagine driving in that everyday. The picture was taken from inside Pace.
In the center, the first Trinity Church which was destroyed by fire in 1776 and was rebuilt in 1846. It has an amazing history.
And  on the right, the impressive New York Stock exchange.

2010_02_253
I got a few shots of the rebuilding of the twin Towers.
from wikipedia  September 11, 2001, Pace University, four blocks from Ground Zero, lost 4 students and over 40 alumni. On September 11, 2001, students were made to leave classes and evacuate to other locations in One Pace Plaza at 10:00 AM. The New York City EMT cleared out the Admissions Lobby and made it into a triage center for victims of the attack.

It was about 11:00pm when I got home, my feet were killing me and I was exhausted, but I loved being in the city with Dave..
Are you a country person?
♫Green acres is the place to be
Farm living is the life for me
Land spreading out,
so far and wide
Keep Manhattan,
just give me that countryside.

Are you a city person?
New York
is where I’d rather stay
I get allergic smelling hay
I just adore a penthouse view
Darling, I love you,
but give me Park Avenue

Just because I’m curious, take the poll in the sidebar. Come on, humor me, Please.

Don’t forget the giveaway, one post below.

Valentine’s day Cuties

Isn’t this the cutest! They are my granddaughter Tay and my grandson Dave, kissing cousins! This year they will be 17 and 19. How time flies.

Tell  someone you love them. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Family time

The last month has been a busy one for me. My daughter and Mia were here for several days before we road tripped it down to TN to help daughter #2 with her huge yardsale……huge because she was downsizing and getting rid of so much. While there, we got sick….first my grandson got a sinus infection and then I got sick and then, of course, we all got sick. SO, I didn’t get as much done as I planned, but do you ever??!!

Then after that I went to NY to stay with Mia for almost 5 whole days while her parents were away in Fripp Island SC.

Here’s Mia  enjoying her lunch of Beef a Roni, which she also used to style her hair. hmmmm…maybe I should try that.

She knows some baby sign language and was giving me the sign for drink…her thumb and finger in a cup shape, rocking up and down…like tipping a drink..

Oh look, they spotted a bunny.

This little rabbit was not afraid at all. He left us get within 3 feet of him before he ran off.

What a show he put on for us. As much as I hate these critters eating my flowers, I must admit they’re cute and fun to watch.

This was while we were in TN, don’t ya love her new do!

And here we are back in cold NY.

The foliage was just about at peak in western NY and I’ll be sharing some beautiful pictures AND you won’t believe what happened at home while I was away. More about that soon.

Being home means relaxing a little and then starting up on projects again. The secretary desk is almost ready to be revealed!

My Road Trip Adventure

Last week I traveled down I 81 south to daughter #2 and family in Tennessee. Yes, I went by myself…it’s not a big deal because it’s just route 81 the whole way, about 8 hours.

Well not this time! Route 81 was completely closed going south at Hagerstown MD. I just followed the traffic in front of me along the detour until I realized that there weren’t many cars on the road…..uh oh…what happened to all the cars???? How I missed the detour completely and ended up on my way straight to Washington I’ll never know for sure. I think it was because there were trucks in front of me and I couldn’t see all the signs.

I fired up my GPS and the dern thing took me straight back to 81, but at least I found the detour this time.

So it took about 3 1/2 hrs to go 50 miles….I’m not kidding. Bumper to bumper and moving about 2 mph! When I finally got back on I 81, I traveled for about 45 minutes before it got black and started pouring. The kind of pouring where you put on your flashers and follow the lights of the car in front of you.

Ok, enough. That’s it! I still had about 5 hours to go….not……I stayed at Days Inn. It was dark and storming loudly and I slept like a baby. The next day I was refreshed and ready to go.
I spent the week helping to put together my daughter’s house. She recently moved and needed help getting the place together. It was a downsize to a smaller rental house and she was overwhelmed with stuff. I was happy to help her get it all together.

Here’s my grandson eating ice cream. He’s a sweet lil guy….mostly…sometimes stubborn.

What could be more fun than a mud hole after the rain?

Mud between the toes looks like fun!
If I ever lived in the south I would need a personality transplant. The people are so chatty and nice. In the north, a store cashier would never say she hopes you have a blessed day and all the cashiers say something nice. You wouldn’t hold a conversation with the person in line behind you and you wouldn’t stand so close either. That bothers me….when someone stands so close, I feel like they are in my space and I notice it every time I’m in the south. But, I do like all the friendliness and probably need to be more friendly myself.
Anyhow, her new neighbors were friendly and welcoming and I was happy to hear that they are looking out for her. She’s going through a very hard domestic situation and needs lots of prayers, so could you please remember her in your prayers? I thank you for that!
The detour was because a tanker truck rolled over and spilled some sort of hazardous material.

~Visiting in NY~

I was visiting my family for the last few days. Seeing how big Mia has grown and all she can do was amazing! It just fills your heart with love. She computes on her mommy’s computer…..

she plays keyboard with her big brother.

My G’son is 17 now and has been accepted at PACE university in New York city. He just loves the city!

Now that’s a smile that lights up a room. She smiles with her whole face.

She eats and feeds herself and smiles all day.

Two little teeth are so cute.

She plays and plays! Such a busy day, bath time, then off to bed.

She is such a good baby, hardly ever fusses and sings herself to sleep in her crib. Visiting is such a stress reliever for me. But when I was away my dad ended up in the ER again. All is back to normal now and we’re having a major weather event with snow, slush and freezing rain…..just when I thought spring was near. (sigh)

The kitchen island is my next project. I’ve decided to give it a whole new look. Paint it, possibly dark red with some aging, a bit of trim, corbels, and see how that goes. After that I’d like to do something to the shiny white cabinets. I’m thinking of a glaze for an aged effect. I’ll have to do some research to learn a good way to do that. Ideas and tips are welcome. The cabinets are ok but they’re showing signs of wear…….marks that won’t come off and paint wearing thin around the handles…….Change is good right?

How bored we’d be without projects!

~A Smile for you~

My last post was such a downer I decided to share some pure delight. These are vidoes of my lil grandaughter. The picture quality is poor because they were taken with a cell phone, but just listen to the first one, at 8 mos. she talks!

This second one might be a little loud….just to warn you…….she’s about 6 mos here.

There’s sadness in life but so many blessing too! I hope these gave you a smile.

~Christening~

I’m just now getting around to posting pictures from the christening in July of my new g’baby Mia, in beautiful Canandaigua. Cousins, my g’son Dave 17 & g’daughter Taylor 15.
Here’s my dd#2, who’s the godmother & me. We clean up real good! Yeah Baby!
Sweet Mia & her mama, my #1 daughter. Note her pretty christening bracelet that was purchased from an ESTY boutique. Mia’s christening bracelet was beautiful & will be a wonderful keepsake. Just look at those toes! Aren’t baby toes the cutest!

It was a naked christening so she was changed into her christening dress during the ceremony.
Below is Mia, her big bro & her mom & dad.
Mia & her godmother & godfather.
Mia’s daddy is catholic so she was christened in the catholic church. It was a casual ceremony & we all enjoyed it lots. Her big bro was the christian witness as well as part of the ceremony & her little cousins were included too. Afterward was a nice party at the clubhouse. The heat was extreme that day so all the kids went swimming to cool off.
Here’s my #2 g’son Jake….he’s getting a taste of icing but he really wanted to dive right into that cake! Well……so did I!

*************************
You’ve all heard of the Nester, right? Well, I made this swag a la the Nester. We used it as a decoration at the party. Now it hangs as a valance in Mia’s room.

I used pieces of some of her outgrown sleepers in the swag. See the little bunny feet? It’s really cute…I love it.

Dad is doing much better so hopefully things will settle down a bit. Phew!!!

Hope you all have a great week!

~Family in Canandaigua~

At Lake Canandaigua, daughter #2 & her kids.

Stepping stone project. It was a fun mess!

Mia curled her tiny toes in the cement.

We made three stepping stones & the big kids decorated them with glass pebbles. Enough of this….. boredom set in quickly!

Fun time!

This is Jake in his car seat enjoying a nice sweet plum.
Jake & his mama. He’s a big boy for 2 1/2!
Nothing like corn on the cob in the good ole summer time!
Mia & her auntie.
Mia & her mama…….MAMA MIA!
I’ll be sharing more Canandaigua pix soon & hope to get back at my room redo project today. I need to finish sanding the desk outside but it is hotteranblazes! With the humidity & the heat index making it feel like the temp is in triple digits I don’t know how much I’ll get done.
Have a great day & keep cool!

Directions for stepping stones ….All the supplies come in a kit but I didn’t want to buy 3 kits because they were more $$$ so I bought one mold & 3 boxes of the cement mix…..you can buy all separately. All of it was purchased at AC Moore. In some of the pix you can see the box of cement. It takes one box of cement for each stone. I needed 2 more molds so I taped together some plastic pieces left over from the food for the christening party…..cake cover. I didn’t realize that the stone was to be left in the mold for 2 wks…..I thought we could just let it set over night then the next day make the next stone. Anyway, it’s so easy, directions are on the box & don’t forget to get a coupon from the Sunday paper! I don’t know if you can use regular cement…..I thought the cement felt harsh & drying on my skin so make sure to wash off well. Have fun!

~ Home Again~

It’s so beautiful in Canandaigua!

Spending time with family felt like being at a beach house. Yep, that’s me attempting to fish with Mia’s Daddy one evening. We caught a few little fishes & threw them back. I’m looking back at Mia & Dawn because a birdie happened to poop on Mia’s pj’s! She is just the sweetest thing! She tries so hard to “chat” & says two words, “goo” & “ahgoo.” I love her facial expressions and her smiling blue eyes.

AHhhhgooo

Goooo

Big yawn….so tired out from all that chatting!

Another day we headed out for a cruise around the lake. It was early evening & got rainy but we had fun anyway.

If you have a few million to spare, there are some beautiful pieces of real estate around the lake

The three pictures above are all part of the same residence. (sigh)

Maybe you like the beautiful spiral stairs up to your own private mansion….or the place below which really had the wow factor!

Here’s our destination, the Sand Bar restaurant, just drive right up in your boat! Mia & her Daddy were there waiting for us.

Her skin is so fair & her hair is coming in red. It looks like she has male pattern baldness!

A free concert in town was fun. The band was Nostalgic Reunion. Actually these guys put on a great show & were very entertaining.

You can see how Mia enjoyed the concert in her hat.

Ok, so I’m home now & getting back to taking care of business. Lots of mail to go through & phone calls to make, appointments……& day dreaming of going back to Canandaigua.

Everyone have a safe & Happy 4th!

~Cholestasis of Pregnancy~

More gifts for Mia from her Nan, that’s me!

My sweet older daughter Dawn who lives in NY has been having such a rough time of it lately. Life is sure giving her a bumpy ride, but she’s doing pretty good & I’m so proud of the way she’s handling her situations. Read about her unexpected pregnancy and about what she’s facing now. Cholestasis of pregnancy…..it’s as nasty as it sounds!
Her bile salts are not being properly processed, that means she ITCHES! Symptoms started around Easter & she immediately saw her Dr. It was determined that the baby had not grown as expected that month so more tests were ordered. When her amniotic fluids were shown to be alarmingly low she was ordered on bed rest. The level of amniotic fluid is now normal & she sees the Dr. every other day. I’m so glad they are watching her closely. The baby has had the meds to help her lungs mature in case this turns into an emergency c section.

Because of this condition the plan was to induce her on Apr. 18th, but since she is doing much better & the baby is ok and has gained some weight they are trying to go a little longer. Her original due date was May 16. They believe that Mia is just shy of 5 lbs. now.

I‘ve been praying & worrying, worrying & praying……how much more stress can she handle…but my faith tells me that our Lord has a plan for her & her sweet baby girl, Mia Kate.

My bag is all packed & I’m just waiting til she tells me to come. She understands the situation with my Mom…..so I’d like to get some extra time with Mom before I go in case I stay longer than expected. I’d love to be there now loving her & fattening her up with comfort food…….

This pretty stroller & car seat is waiting to meet Mia too!

Here she is only a few months pregnant. She’s such a pretty thing, IMHO, I’m her Mom!
Please keep Dawn & Mia in your prayers. Thank you all!
