This week meet Denise from Pink Post Card. She blogs from the beautiful state of Oregon, where she lives in a craftsman-traditional style home with an open floor plan and beautiful views.

Step into the entry and you’re greeted by this pretty old dresser. Read its history and see the tutorial of how she created the lettering. Her home is furnished with many of her thrifted treasures and pretty furniture makeovers.
The living room is fresh and inviting, furnished with her makeovers and I am truly smitten with the nail head detail on the coffee table. The sofa which she calls “the Beast” was completely made over. Denise sells some of her furniture makeovers locally and at shows.
A clock made by her late grandfather has a special place in this room. The bookcase is a garage sale find and she reupholstered the chair.
In the dining room, Denise made the linen slipcovers and flirty skirts for the chairs. I love the bit of bling added by the chandelier and the pretty blue on the back of the hutch.

The kitchen had dark cabinets which were painted white, giving the room a new feel, more farmhouse than frump! New pendants and lots of new trim were added.

Painting the cabinets took this kitchen from plain Jane to a pretty space to cook in. Check out that yummy looking cake!
Open shelving, a pretty chandelier and an old piece of office furniture serving as a buffet, create a cozy breakfast nook.
In the dreamy master bedroom, a beautiful French, vintage chest at the bottom of the bed was a rare $25 find.

Denise cut out a curved cornice to complete the fabric wall. It looks fantastic!
I love this pretty vignette of a Manzanita branch and vintage map above a distressed vintage cabinet.
So there you have a glimpse into Denise’s lovely home, but there’s lots more to see on her blog, the family room, her daughter’s room, home office and studio. Check out her etsy shop and portfolio of all the lovely vintage pieces she has painted and sold. She is a busy lady!
