Welcome to Feature Friday. This week we’ll get a glimpse into the lovely home of Mary Ann Pickett from Classic Casual Home, a remodeled 1950′s beach cottage near the Pacific Ocean.
This is a look at the after of her kitchen. It looks nothing like the original now. You’ll find lots of before shots on her blog, so you can really see how much work was done to get to this point.
A small sitting area off the kitchen lets you chat with the cook but stay out of his way. Her husband is the cook. Lucky gal, wish mine was!
Notice the ceilings throughout this home, they are gorgeous! Mary Ann changes the fabrics in her home to reflect the seasons. This is the winter look.
Notice that Dutch door! swoon. This is the Summer look in the living room with pretty green and salmon colored fabrics.
The master bedroom feels soft and dreamy in shades of a custom mixed pale blue.
There are 2 venetian mirrors in the master bath, a gorgeous room!
Her office is a small space off the master.
Tucked in the corner of the office, is her comfy blogging nook.
Have you noticed all the art work in this home? Some of it is flea market art and she’s used original art and water colors from her previous home in France. This is her son’s room.
In her son’s bath, she’s used water colors from the flea market. I was drawn in by the contrast of white with these pretty colors.
Fish plates from Mexico and a fish pillow cover from Pottery Barn complete her daughter’s room. I love that coral color too!
On Classis Casual Home Mary Ann shares her sources and great deals and you’ll find more inspiring pictures, plus features of other stunning homes! Mary Ann offers decorating and styling services using pieces that you already own for a new and fresh look. Go on over and take a look!
Thank You Mary Ann for allowing me to feature you home and blog!
All pictures are linked to the original source. Please be kind and pin from the original site.
Thanks for visiting! Debra (((xx)))
