As I hit up the local thrift shops on my travels I come across a few things I can’t resist. There are always so many treasures just waiting for a new life. With a little imagination and TLC they are as good as, or better than new!

These large forks and spoon were only 25¢ each. I got them last year but am not sure if I shared them. They must have been hanging in somebody’s kitchen for years because they had a kind of greasy film on them! They’re finally getting a makeover and will soon hang in my kitchen.

It’s hard to photograph a mirror so here’s part of the old mirror that I got for 10.00. Annie Sloan and I have plans for its makeover for my Autumn mantel. The fence post finials were 1$ each and will become feet on a vanity, with Annie Sloan too!

I found this heavy silver tray for 2$. I have a thing for silver trays, they make a good looking wall collage or just piled up on a coffee table.

This vintage enamel container with a lid was 3$. It would be perfect for powdered laundry detergent. It’s probably about 8 x 20” so it’s a good size.
So that’s it, hope you like my treasures as much as I do. ![]()

I have an awesome giveaway coming up soon, so stay tuned for that!
Thanks for visiting! Debra (((xx)))

What treasures. I think that last enamelware piece was made for refrigerator use. I have one that I use to keep my candles in. My gramma used to use it to keep pickles in old refrigerator…probably other things, too, but I remember a mix of cukes and onions and something else. Have fun with your new finds- xo Diana
