This weeks feature comes all the way from India. We’re visiting Niru’s blog, Twinkling Moments. In her words, we live in a rented two bedroom apartment in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. So, what you might not find in our home are beautifully painted walls and a bespoke structure. No gorgeous furniture either, only hand-me-downs and a few others that were bought second-hand. But, it’s lovingly decorated with… whites [lots of them], flowers [lots of them too], some old things and something’s new [mostly bought at thrift stores and craft bazaars].

A peek into the living room reveals a space that’s soft and serene.
White flowers and hand made pillows add to it’s charm.

Her love of flowers is evident.

. Elachi Shrikhand [Indian hung yogurt desert] with oranges.

Homemade black grape jam looks delicious.
Incorporating old and new in her kitchen are cherished cookbooks, journals and a vintage paper bunting.
She describes her bedroom as a sweet mess of linen with whispering curtains. The iron bed was a gift from friends.

The nightstand is a lovely old trunk, I’m sure, a cherished piece.

That completes the tour of Niru’s home. Visit Twinkling Moments to get a further look into her apartment In India. I’m sure your visit will be delightful.
With so many great blogs all over the blog-o-sphere, Friday Feature is a way to showcase other bloggers while gaining lots of decorating inspiration. If you have a project or makeover that you think is feature worthy, please email me or leave a comment.
There’s still time to enter the giveaway for Cutting Edge stencils HERE.
